Dr. Lesa M.Covington Clarkson
Biography
Dr. Lesa M.Covington Clarkson is an Associate Professor of Mathematics Education in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Minnesota. Her research interest is mathematics in urban settings. Since the 2011 Minnesota eighth-grade algebra legislation, she has been focusing on the effect(s) of this law on African-American students and their academic trajectories.
